Tilton Family...making tracks.
Here is a sneak peak of this colorful family. Mom did an excellent job coordinating the clothing which always makes my job easier. I'd like to highlight this family as a clothing selection done right case study: Pick a colorful print to start (little girl's skirt print). Use this as inspiration when selecting clothing for a whole family. Pick out 2-3 colors (red and blue in this case) in the starter print and dress every member of the family in those colors (otherwise known as color- coordinating). Use a mix of patterns/prints and solids. Keep the pants simple (denim in this case) but play around with denim skirts (see mom), denim jackets (see little girl) or denim vests . Add some depth by layering and accessories. Combine these styling tips with some very photogenic kiddos and viola...clothing done right! More of this family coming soon!

  1. Keeley -- thank you for taking the time to do these photos. I'm amazed at how well these turned out. You do some awesome work with your sometimes less-than-fully-cooperative subjects. You have a gift and we'll sorely miss you and your family. We'll just have to make an extra trip next time we want to have photos taken!!
