Little Lincoln...a day at the soccer field
This is my little guy Lincoln. Apparently he was in the mood for an impromptu photo shoot at the soccer field. I'll take it when I can get it! He thought he was pretty clever peeking through this old soccer net. I love when the sun makes a surprise appearance in Washington.

Mackenzie...Locks of Love
Here is my sweet neighbor Mackenzie who posed for a quick photo shoot before she chopped her beautiful golden brown hair to donate to Lock of Love. I was so tickled to be part of this great act of love, especially since I have a sister who battled childhood cancer. This entry is dedicated to my little sister Mikell who is an angel among us. Thanks Mackenzie!

all about a boy...encore!
I had to share a few more of my brown-eyed boy. As you can see I played around with some sunflare to give the photos a warm and hazey effect. This family opted for a quick clothing change to classic white and we drove just down the road to use the Puget Sound as a beautiful backdrop.
all about a boy...
Here's a sneak peak for the Stephens Family. This little guy has the biggest brown eyes I have ever seen. He was full of energy and smiles and certainly kept me on my toes! More of this brown-eyed boy to come!

Tilton Family...making tracks.
Here is a sneak peak of this colorful family. Mom did an excellent job coordinating the clothing which always makes my job easier. I'd like to highlight this family as a clothing selection done right case study: Pick a colorful print to start (little girl's skirt print). Use this as inspiration when selecting clothing for a whole family. Pick out 2-3 colors (red and blue in this case) in the starter print and dress every member of the family in those colors (otherwise known as color- coordinating). Use a mix of patterns/prints and solids. Keep the pants simple (denim in this case) but play around with denim skirts (see mom), denim jackets (see little girl) or denim vests . Add some depth by layering and accessories. Combine these styling tips with some very photogenic kiddos and viola...clothing done right! More of this family coming soon!
